Pleated cartridges use folded PP or PTFE microporous membrane, giving several times the filter area of a comparable cartridge, high dirt holding capacity and slow pressure rise, with ratings from 0.1 to 100 μm. They suit RO guard filtration, food and beverage final filtration and electronics precision filtration, with flat, 222 and 226 end connections.

5 µm for RO pre-filtration, 1–10 µm for polishing, 0.2–0.45 µm pleated for sterile filtration.

Pleated, wound or melt-blown?

Pleated gives the highest dirt holding capacity per cartridge; wound is economical for coarse filtration; melt-blown suits high-flow pre-filtration.

What is the maximum operating temperature?

PP cartridges 60 °C, PTFE/glass fibre pleated up to 120 °C; do not exceed differential pressure of 0.2 MPa.
