MB400 (electronic grade)

MB400 is an electronic-grade polishing mixed bed resin with cation and anion resins pre-mixed in ratio. Used as a final polish in ultra-pure water systems, it removes trace ions, TOC and particles, reaching up to 18 MΩ·cm. Supplied in 5 L bags ready to use, it suits electronics, medical and laboratory applications with the highest water quality demands.

Strong acid cation or strong base anion?

SAC (gel) for softening and demineralisation cation beds; SBA (gel or macroporous) for anion exchange; mixed bed grade available for polishing.

What is the exchange capacity?

Typically ≥ 4.5 mmol/g dry for 001×7 SAC and ≥ 3.6 mmol/g for 201×7 SBA; the certificate states the measured value per batch.

How should resin be stored before use?

Keep sealed below 40 °C, avoid drying out and freezing; rinse with 4–6 bed volumes of water before commissioning.
