Extruded from coal or wood powder with a binder, columnar carbon offers high mechanical strength and low air resistance, suited to spray booth emissions, VOC adsorption and advanced industrial wastewater treatment. Its regular shape gives even filling and stable pressure drop, and it can be regenerated by steam desorption or used with catalytic combustion.

Which mesh size should I choose?

8–20 mesh for multimedia filters, 20–40 mesh for polishing; we match the size to your vessel diameter and flow rate.

How do I calculate the filling quantity?

Roughly 0.6–0.8 t per m³ of bed volume for anthracite, 1.4–1.6 t/m³ for quartz sand and 0.45–0.55 t/m³ for GAC.

Is the carbon acid-washed?

Both steam-activated and acid-washed grades are available; acid-washed is recommended where low leachables are required.
